Darren Neal

Darren Neal, Director, Motorcycles UKHaving been in the motorcycle industry since I left the RAF in 1996 and having worked for some of the largest dealers in the UK, I am really excited to be heading my own business in an industry that I love.

I had my first experience of bikes when I was 2 years old being placed on the seat of my dad’s 250 BSA and I’ve been hooked ever since. I started riding myself at 14 years of age on a Yamaha DT50 field bike that was given to my dad for painting someone’s house! Like Chris, I started riding on the roads at 16 on a Yamaha RD50, passed my test at 17 and quickly purchased the fastest bike I could afford, a Yamaha FZR600, which I then smashed to pieces 4 days later! The obsession with speed led me to a career on the Racetrack, culminating with 3 appearances at the Manx Grand Prix on the infamous Isle of Man as well as multiple wins at Club level on all sorts of bikes from 600s to Superbikes. After all these years I still get a massive buzz from riding bikes and hope that continues for many years to come.
