1. Definitions
Dealer: Motorcycles UK Ltd.
Customer: The person named on the order.
Consumer: A Customer buying mainly for personal, not business, use.
Goods: Any motorcycle or related item sold by the Dealer.
Vehicle: Any motorcycle and its accessories.
Services: Any work or repairs carried out by the Dealer.
2. Contract
These terms form the full agreement between the Dealer and the Customer. Any changes must be confirmed in writing.
3. Validity
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still apply.
4. Order Confirmation
All orders and any part‑exchange valuations must be confirmed in writing by the Dealer.
5. Delivery
Delivery dates are estimates unless agreed in writing.
If delivery is more than 21 days late, the Customer may request delivery within 14 days. If still not delivered, the Customer may cancel.
6. Used Motorcycles
Used motorcycles are supplied roadworthy at the time of delivery.
Customers must inspect the motorcycle before signing.
Defects visible on inspection or notified beforehand are not covered by implied warranties.
Statutory rights apply to consumer purchases.
7. Variations
Any agreed changes to the order amend the existing contract but do not create a new one.
8. Payment
Payment is due when the motorcycle is ready for collection or delivery and a delivery date agreed.
A deposit may be required, and the Dealer is not obliged to proceed with the order until it is paid.
9. Place of Delivery
Collection takes place at the Dealer’s premises unless agreed otherwise.
10. Failure to Collect / Customer Cancellation
If the Customer does not pay for and collect the motorcycle within 14 days of notification, the Dealer may cancel the contract and resell the motorcycle.
The deposit will be refunded after deducting resale & preparation costs and any loss in value.
Storage charges may apply.
11. Loss or Damage
The Dealer is responsible for loss or damage only were caused by its negligence.
Customers should remove personal items from the motorcycle and the dealer will not be responsible for loss or damage.
12. Ownership & Risk
Risk passes to the Customer once the motorcycle is handed over.
Ownership remains with the Dealer until paid in full.
Rights to possession end if the Customer becomes insolvent.
The Dealer may recover the motorcycle if necessary.
If the Customer sells the motorcycle before ownership passes, proceeds must be held in trust for the Dealer.
13. Right of Lien
The Dealer may retain Customer property until all outstanding amounts are paid.
14. Part Exchange
The Dealer relies on the Customer’s statements about the part‑exchange motorcycle.
It must be owned outright or have finance that the Dealer agrees to settle.
It must be delivered in the same condition as inspected (fair wear and tear excepted).
It must be delivered before or at collection of the new motorcycle.
If conditions are not met, the Dealer may refuse the part‑exchange and require full payment.
15. Authority to Contract
The Customer is responsible for orders placed by anyone reasonably believed to be acting on their behalf.
16. Authority to Uplift
If someone who appears authorised collects a motorcycle, the Dealer is not liable for resulting loss.
17. Authority to Ride
The Dealer may ride the motorcycle as needed for inspection, testing, valuation, or repair.
This also applies to part‑exchange motorcycles.
18. Finance
The Customer may arrange for a finance company to purchase the motorcycle within 7 days of notification it is ready.
Part‑exchange terms still apply, and the Dealer will account to the finance company for any deposit and allowances.
19. Distance Selling (Consumers Only)
Consumers may cancel within 7 days of receiving the motorcycle if the contract was completed without face‑to‑face contact.
Cancellation must be in writing.
Refunds will be made within 7 days of return or proof of return.
The Customer must return the motorcycle within 7 days and pay return costs.
The Customer is responsible for the motorcycle until returned.
Deductions apply:
£1.00 per mile from delivery mileage.
Reconditioning at £70 + VAT per hour plus materials.
20. Storage Charges
The Dealer may charge reasonable daily storage fees for uncollected motorcycles.
21. Customer Complaints Policy
Motorcycles UK aims to deliver the highest level of customer service.

1. Definitions
Workshop: Motorcycles UK Ltd, its staff, and premises.
Customer: The individual or company requesting services.
Vehicle: The motorcycle presented for service, repair, or inspection.
2. Scope of Services
The Workshop carries out servicing, repairs, inspections, and modifications as agreed.
Additional work will be quoted and approved before proceeding.
3. Estimates & Pricing
Estimates are given in good faith but may change if unforeseen issues arise.
Prices include or exclude VAT as required by law.
Charges may change if parts or labour costs change.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due on completion and before the Vehicle is released.
Accepted payment methods: cash, debit/credit card, bank transfer.
The Workshop may retain the Vehicle until payment is made.
5. Parts & Materials
Genuine or OEM‑equivalent parts are used unless agreed otherwise.
Special‑order parts must be paid for in advance and are non‑returnable.
6. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer must provide accurate information about the Vehicle.
The Vehicle must be roadworthy unless being repaired for safety‑critical faults.
Personal belongings must be removed before work begins.
7. Liability & Insurance
Work is carried out with reasonable care and skill.
The Workshop is not liable for:
Vehicles are insured while on the premises, but Customers should maintain their own insurance.
8. Warranty
Labour is warranted for 3 months from completion.
Parts are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty only.
Warranty claims must be inspected by the Workshop before further work.
9. Storage & Collection
Vehicles must be collected within 7 days of completion.
Storage charges may apply after this period.
10. Road Testing
The Customer authorises reasonable road testing to diagnose or confirm repairs.
11. Legal Compliance
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected.
